Who we are
djust.org is run by the djust project (djust-org). In these terms "we" means the djust project and "the site" means djust.org, including the community at /community/ and the showcase at /showcase/. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Using the site
You can read the site without an account. Use it lawfully, and do not try to disrupt it: no attempts to break into accounts or systems, no overloading the site with automated requests, and no scraping that gets in the way of other people using it. If you find a security problem, please report it to security@djust.org rather than exploiting it.
Community accounts
You join the community by signing in with GitHub or Google. You are responsible for what is posted from your account. Keep your GitHub or Google account secure, and do not share your account or sign in as someone else.
Community guidelines
Everything you post must follow the community guidelines. In short: be helpful, specific and kind; keep posts on topic; and never post credentials, confidential data, or material you do not have permission to share.
Your content
- You keep ownership of what you post: topics, replies, profile details, images and showcase projects.
- By posting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute it on the site, and to make the changes needed to do that (for example, resizing images or rendering Markdown). This licence lasts for as long as the content is on the site.
- Posts are public. Anyone can read them, and search engines can index them.
- You must have the right to post what you post. Do not post anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that invades someone's privacy, and do not post malware or spam.
Code you share
Code snippets you post in the community are shared under the MIT License, unless you say otherwise in the post, so that others can use the answers they find here. Links to your own repositories keep whatever licence those repositories carry.
Moderation
Moderators keep the community useful and safe. Your first contributions are reviewed before they are published. Moderators may hide or remove posts, lock discussions, and suspend an account's posting access, for example when content breaks these terms or the community guidelines. Use the Report link on any post to ask for a review. If you think a moderation decision was wrong, email support@djust.org.
We may suspend or close an account that repeatedly or seriously breaks these terms.
djust and code on this site
The djust framework is open-source software released under the MIT License. Code samples and snippets published on djust.org are also available under the MIT License unless a page says otherwise. The djust name and logo are not covered by that licence.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites and services, such as GitHub, the documentation site and djustlive. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty
The site, its content and any code on it are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Posts in the community are written by their authors, not by us, and may be wrong. We do not promise the site will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or of code or advice found on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how to have your data deleted.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
